Nested Medicine Cups

Hand pinched, no-glaze, nested medicine cups. Woodfired in Anagama for 5 days. Nice, subtle flashing - golden brown ash-flow haloed with red & burgundy.
They fit well in the palm of hand and they have a nice texture. Bare clay in and out, colored by atmospheric conditions in the kiln. Ash hit left a pale golden brown with the rest of the cup speckled like granite.
One slips inside the other just because it can. Both painted very simply with ash and flame.
