carbon leaves

This cup has Hawaiian foliage in carbon black. One side got extra hot and became dry and a bit warped. The rest of the ash matured to a shiny, silky smooth finish. No glaze was used, the black mostly came from carbon being trapped during a reduced atmospheric event. Clay body was a mixture of B-Mix and Sauer-Grey.
