Red Porcelain Cup

This cup had no glaze when it went into the kiln. Color is from atmospheric and reduction conditions that were in the kiln during the 5 day firing. Made from Helmar porcelain. Faceted at an angle, incised design at top. 3.75 inches tall by 3+ inches wide. Woodfired in the anagama. It sat towards the back/middle and didn't get much ash buildup. Nice and smooth The inside is a creamy rose. Here's to your health!
