Mottled Cup

My favorite critter front and back! This cup has a different coloring. Almost like it was soda fired. But it was woodfired for 5 days in the anagama kiln; hydrogen-reduction cooled for 7 hours. Left to cool for a week before opening the kiln. A mottled, yet smooth cup with red flashing which was blackened from carbon trapped in an early reduction.
A taller, narrow cup 4.25 inches tall and 2.5 inches wide. Nice and smooth. Handmade with love.
