Good Thoughts

Textured medicine cup with golden/brown crystals. Message on bottom reads "Good Thoughts". Thrown on the wheel with a clay mix of Black Mountain and B-Mix. Grit was added for texture.
The inside was covered in a clay slip and the rest was left bare for the flames and ash to paint. Clay body turned an earthy brown, red and black, and has a nice charred finish. It has a nice weight and feels good to hold.
Thrown on the wheel and incised with a design with intentional feelings of healing and well being. For ritualizing your daily medication dose, use it every day.
